U23 razina i veliki izazovi

From Livno to the biggest races in Europe.
Childhood and beginnings in Livno
I was born Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina . Here, a bicycle is seen as means of transportation, not a sport, and dreaming of a professional career felt like a fantasy. I was still playing football, the bicycle was my daily escape. Riding through the nearby hills and gravel roads became my ritual. I joined the local amateur club BK Livno, where I achieved my first victory in my first race. That where I discovered my passion for endurance sports. Becoming a professional cyclist from Bosnia and Herzegovina was not easy; the nearest shop for parts was 90 km away, but we eventually put together my first "real bike. Once I sat on it, I never got off.
I soon started almost every race in the region. In the junior category, international results began to come in – finishes and victories at UCI races. In 2015, I became the Balkan junior champion in MTB XCO, riding for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. That same year, I received an invitation from the UCI World Cycling Center – a place that changes lives. There, I had top-notch coaches, excellent support – and most importantly, someone believed in my potential."
The following years defined my journey as an Under-23 rider, marked by my participation in major races like Paris-Roubaix U23, Liège–Bogne–Liège, and the Tour de l’Avenir — all demanding top-level performance. During this time, I found myself without a team and joined the only Croatian Continental squad. Competing without the resources available to larger teams was challenging, but quitting was never an option for me. With strategic planning, unwavering commitment, and a clear focus, I was able to conclude the season with outstanding results and secure my first professional contract.
I switched from MTB to road cycling, not realizing how different the two sports actually are. Tactics, turns, and speed – everything was to me. At first, finishing a race without falling was a success. But I learned quickly the races became more serious.
I had the honor of representing: Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Junior World Championships in Richmond
Croatia at various World and European Championships
The Croatian Olympic Committee at the European Games in Minsk
These years have given me a unique level of experience in competition, training, and managing pressure—an opportunity very few athletes in the region get to experience.
Coaching, motivation, and education.
Throughout this journey, one question emerged: What if I could assist young riders in reaching the professional level more quickly, intelligently, and safely?
This motivated me to enroll in the Faculty of Kinesiology and pursue further education. I’ve blended the knowledge I gained over the years in the peloton with the theory and practice of human performance.
Today, I believe I provide more than just a training plan offer guidance, support, and a clear direction for those aspiring to become true athletes.
